The STS53 leasing area will be used for storage and port handling of bulk cargoes, by the long course and cabotage shipping types, in the unloading direction. The Terminal will have road and rail connections to the Metropolitan Region of Baixada Santista. The venture will be executed on a site with existing structures, which can be demolished or renovated and can be used by the future tenant in their current state of conservation.​
