Importance: The solid bulk cargo, mainly represented by soybeans, soybean meal, corn, sugar, wheat, malt and barley, are the main cargo handled in the port complex, and the Port of Paranaguá is one of the largest bulk ports in Latin America. According to information from the Master Plan, in 2016 7.9 million tons of soybeans, 4.5 million tons of soybean meal and 2.5 million tons of corn were exported, totaling about 15 million tons, destined mainly for Europe and Asia.
